This Cancellation & Refund Policy is part of, and incorporated into, our Terms of Service. It explains how Trackara Pro subscriptions renew, how to cancel, and when refunds apply. By starting a subscription you agree to these terms.
Please read, this is how billing works. Trackara Pro is a recurring subscription. When your 14-day free trial ends (or your current paid term ends), your subscription automatically renews and your payment method is charged the then-current price unless you cancel first. The charge happens at the start of each new term.
All amounts are in USD and processed by Stripe, Inc. on Stripe-hosted pages. We do not bill through the Apple App Store or Google Play, so there is no Apple/Google subscription to manage, there's exactly one place to cancel, described below. For annual plans, we'll send a reminder before your renewal date as a courtesy.
Cancelling is quick and we never make you jump through hoops. It takes about 30 seconds:
Asked to cancel right before a renewal? Your cancellation is effective from the date and time you email us, not from when we get around to processing it. If a renewal charge happens after you've sent your request but before we've handled it (say, over a weekend or a day our support is closed), we'll honor your original request: we back-date the cancellation to your request and refund that charge.
Heads up: If anyone tells you to cancel in Settings → Subscriptions on iPhone or in the Play Store on Android, that's outdated, Trackara Pro isn't billed through Apple or Google, so nothing appears there. The only place your subscription lives is Stripe, managed by us. One email and you're done.
Subscriptions are billed in advance for each term. Because you have full access to every feature the moment you're billed, payments are non-refundable once charged, except where required by applicable consumer-protection law. You can cancel at any time to stop all future charges.
| Situation | What you pay | Refund |
|---|---|---|
| Cancel during the 14-day free trial | Nothing, never charged | N/A, no charge |
| Cancel a monthly plan mid-month | Current month already paid | No partial refund · access continues to period end |
| Cancel an annual plan after it renews | Current year already paid | Non-refundable except where law requires · access continues to period end |
| Duplicate or genuine billing error | , | Refunded after we verify it |
| We end your subscription without cause on our end | Current term already paid | Refunded pro-rata for the unused portion |
Think you were charged in error? Email support@trackara.app and we'll review it promptly. We also refund a renewal that was charged after you'd already asked to cancel, see How to cancel. And where a refund is required by the consumer-protection law that applies to you, we honor it.
If we end your account without cause on our end (not for a violation or non-payment), as described under Termination in our Terms of Service, we refund the unused portion of your current term pro-rata to your original payment method through Stripe.
When you create an account and start a subscription, you affirmatively agree to these terms and our Terms of Service, and we keep a timestamped record of that acceptance (including the version agreed to and the date). We also keep a record of each successful and failed charge. We may use these records to verify your authorization in the event of a billing dispute.
Before you dispute a charge with your bank, talk to us first. Most "surprise" charges are an auto-renewal that's easy to sort out, and we'll make it right faster than a bank dispute can. Filing a chargeback on a charge you authorized may result in your account being suspended while we resolve it. Email support@trackara.app, we genuinely want to help.
These are two separate actions, and doing one does not do the other:
If you want both, cancel your subscription and delete your account, complete both actions. The order doesn't matter, but you must do both. In-app account deletion shows a reminder of this before you confirm.
Our earlier account-deletion flow didn't show today's cancellation reminder. As a one-time, good-faith measure for that closed period, if you deleted your account on or before May 26, 2026 and aren't sure whether you're still being billed:
This good-faith measure applies only to account deletions on or before May 26, 2026.
If anything here isn't clear, email support@trackara.app. We'd much rather over-communicate than leave you with a billing surprise.
Trackara Pro is operated by Commoner Apps LLC. This Cancellation & Refund Policy is part of our Terms of Service and is governed by them, including their dispute-resolution and governing-law provisions. Nothing here limits any non-waivable rights you have under the consumer-protection laws that apply to you.
