This policy explains how to cancel your Trackara Pro subscription. All Trackara Pro subscriptions are billed directly by us through Stripe — we don't currently sell subscriptions through the Apple App Store or Google Play. That means there's exactly one place to cancel, and it's described below.
Important: Deleting your Trackara Pro account does not automatically cancel your subscription. Billing continues until you cancel separately. Email us to cancel — there's no Apple or Google subscription screen to check, because Trackara isn't billed through those channels.
How to cancel
Email support
Email support@trackara.app from the email address on your Trackara Pro account and tell us you'd like to cancel. We process cancellations within one business day and email you a confirmation. Your access continues to the end of the current billing period.
Heads up: If someone tells you to cancel a Trackara Pro subscription in Settings → Subscriptions on iPhone, or in the Play Store on Android, that's outdated information. Trackara Pro is not currently sold through Apple IAP or Google Play subscriptions, so nothing will show up there. The only place Trackara Pro subscriptions live is Stripe (managed by us). One email and you're done.
Refunds
Trackara Pro subscriptions are billed in advance and are non-refundable for the current billing period once charged, except where required by applicable consumer-protection law. You can cancel any time to prevent future charges.
If you believe you were charged in error, email support@trackara.app and we'll review it case by case.
Deleted your account before May 26, 2026?
Our prior account-deletion flow did not show the subscription-cancellation reminder that today's flow does. If you deleted your Trackara Pro account before that date and you're not sure whether your subscription is still active, here's how to find out and what we'll do about it.
- Email support@trackara.app with the email address you used to subscribe.
- We'll look up your Stripe customer record (Stripe keeps customer data even after the Trackara account is gone) and reply with whether there's an active subscription, when it started, and what's been charged in the last 90 days.
- If we find an active subscription tied to a deleted Trackara account and you tell us in good faith that you thought it was already cancelled, we will: cancel it immediately, and refund the charges from the past 30 days. Refunds go back to the original card via Stripe (5-10 business days).
This commitment applies for deletions on or before May 26, 2026.
Cancelling vs. deleting your account
These are two separate actions:
- Cancelling your subscription stops future charges but leaves your account and data intact. You can come back later without losing anything.
- Deleting your account erases your data after a 30-day grace period (see our Account Deletion Policy) but does not stop your subscription billing. To stop billing, you must also cancel using the steps above.
If you want both — cancel your subscription and delete your account — do both actions. The order doesn't matter, but you have to complete both.
